Dramatic Links

Some of our members have family connections to upcoming dramatic events in Cork.

RTAI member Máire Uí Annracháin’s son Eoin Ó hAnnracháin is director an co-writer of  Thomas Kent – 1916 RebelThis topical play runs at the Everyman Theatre from 9th – 13th May at 8p.m.

This play will also be staged in Fermoy, (3rd), Macroom (5th) and Rossmore (6th & 7th).

Alice Barry is the author of Fruit Cake, starring Mary McEvoy at the Everyman, from 24th – 28th May. Alice is the daughter of RTAI member Alice Barry (senior).

Alice has another play about Violet Gibson, the woman who shot Mussolini. This will  be directed and played by Alice, at the end of August…. keep an eye on the Everyman website.
