Over 40 of us were spellbound last week when Margaret Aherne treated us to a fascinating demonstration of Christmas flower arranging. She unerringly knew where to place each bloom and piece of greenery to create totally differing creations which were very happily taken home by the raffle winners. What a wonderful way to spend a morning, most of us having been line dancing for the previous hour. Isn’t retirement just wonderful!
