The annual charity coffee morning was held in the Silversprings Hotel on Friday, December 1st. A large crowd attended the event on a bright, crisp morning. Tea, coffee and scones were welcomed by all and there was plenty of chat and warmth indoors in the Clayton, Silversprings. This venue has hosted the charity coffee morning for many years now and also kindly makes a donation to the annual event. Members contributed very generously to the fundraiser which this year was in aid of UNICEF and Marymount. A whopping €2,600 was donated either in person at the coffee morning or via Revolut. The Branch will top up this amount to make an overall donation of €3,000. Thanks to Pádraig Ó Conaill who organises the monthly coffee mornings throughout the year.
