Doneraile Park

School term officially ended today 28th June,as 27 of us ‘on the other side’ descended on Doneraile Park for an amble and lunch afterwards. Blessed with Goldilocks weather, not too hot,not too cold,we sauntered around the 5.3km perimeter pathway in this delightful, well maintained demesne. Welcoming some new faces it’s great to see our RTA branches thriving and adding to people’s wellbeing with such an easygoing, sociable activity.

Lunch in the courtyard and in the tearoom was delicious as always with extensive choices on offer. Lucky the people of Doneraile and surrounding areas to have such a place on their doorstep. The estate house is open to the public but because of restricted numbers allowed on a tour we had to forego a group visit but it’s on my to do list definitely this summer with others thinking likewise.
