In stark contrast to our intrepid hillwalkers, 7 of us recently did an easy stroll along the Clogheen Milcon Fen. A gem of a flat walk near Blarney village, with wetlands, wildlife, exercise machines, seating, explanatory boards and plenty parking to add to this amenity. Having hung up the mountain boots some years ago this level of strolling suits some of us now and sure, the chat and the lunch to follow are priority anyway! So again, all levels of activity are adequately catered for by our wonderful Cork RTA organisation.
