On November 18th, 30 of us were enthralled when Margaret Ahern (AOIFA) gave us a master class in flower arranging with a Christmas theme. She spoke so knowledgeably about the greenery and flower choices involved. Each arrangement had a different purpose – for a hall table, a dinner table, tall pedestal arrangement, using recycled items, cardboard cutouts of Mary, Joseph, use of candles etc. The best part was the raffling off each arrangement. Lucky recipients indeed!!
