Activities for April

April will be a busy month for the members of RTAI Cork.

April 1st  (Friday); Social Coffee morning in Clayton Hotel (formerly Silversprings)

April 12th (Tuesday) Early meal in Currans (Adelaide St) at 5 p.m. followed by movie in the Gate Cinema:

Exhibition on Screen; Monet to Matisse. Painting the Modern Garden. at 6.30 p.m.

 

April 14th (Thursday) Amblers’ WalkBlarney Castle. Leader: Mairead Twomey

PLEASE NOTE DATE FOR SOCIAL MEDIA TALK!

April 20th (Wednesday): Talk on ‘Social media awareness’ by  our committee members, Marian O’Callaghan and Sean Radley in Oriel House at 11.00. All you ever wanted to know about Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and whatever the latest trend is (but were too confused to ask!!)

Numbers in this session will be limited and waiting list compiled, if interest warrants, for a further workshop. Keep an eye out for the text alert!

April 21st (Thursday);  Ramblers walk–Seven Heads– Leaders; Donal Whooley and Angela Foley. Lunch to follow. After lunch those interested will be given a guided tour of Timoleague Abbey (Tig Molaga) and if time permits, the local churches.

 

April 23/24; Millstreet Walking Festival. Details here. No doubt our Amblers and Ramblers will make plans, as they r/amble along! It’s nice to meet other walking groups and share experiences.
