Valentine’s Day Cake Decoration Demonstration

 Mary Cahill presented a wonderful cake decoration demonstration on February 7th in the SMA Hall Wilton.

Mary had baked a  beautiful cake and proceeded to show us how to ice it for Valentine’s Day with sugar craft icing.

Everyone present joined in a  hands -on session and learned how to make intricate roses in pink and white. Each person then decorated cookies which were supplied by Mary.

Following this most enjoyable and enlightening event, we marvelled at Mary’s creativity and expertise.

A voluntary contribution of €220 was collected on the day. The proceeds from the event were  donated to the West Cork Air Ambulance Fund.
