Trip to Tralee

From the 17th-19th November, 21of us spent 2 very enjoyable nights at the Rose Hotel. From the outset both us and the hotel staff took every precaution to ensure our protection from infection as far as is possible. With reduced numbers staying there, we had ample space at breakfast/dinner with the standard of food very good indeed.
Everyone travelled independently and reconvened for a bracing walk in Muckross the first afternoon and on Inch beach the following day. After lunch in Dingle some people went sightseeing further out the spectacular peninsula while some of us supported the local economy in the craft shops that remain open in Dingle. The absence of tourists was an advantage in the current climate. We hope to return at a future date to further explore this amazing countryside.
