February calendar

The following are the events and activities planned for February 2017:

February 3rd (Friday): Social Coffee Morning, Clayton Silversprings Hotel, 11 a.m.

February 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th Line Dancing Classes. Final class will be on 24th.

February 7th (Tuesday):  Valentine’s Day Cake Demo and hands-on session. SMA Centre 2p.m. (This event is free of charge, but registration in advance is required. Please respond to the text message when it it issued).

February 8th (Wednesday): Early Spring Treasures. A visit to the garden of Hester Forde, 15, Johnstown Park, Glounthaune. Click here for a map. Hester is renowned for her snowdrops, and hopes there will be a good display today. She will give advice on gardening and answer questions. There will be a charge of €6 per person. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided. If you wish to travel by train, click here for the timetable.

February 9th (Thursday): Amblers’ Walk, Ballincollig Regional Park.

February 16th (Thursday): Hillwalk. Mount Hillary.An easy C grade walk. Details will be circulated to the Hillwalkers by email.

February 21st (Tuesday): Opera House. “Murder at Shandy Hall”. Details will be circulated by text message, in advance and posted here at a later date.
